1. Data Collection & On-Device Processing

At Sunplanner, we believe your home is your most private space. That is why all 3D models, LiDAR scans, and project files are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or analyze your room layouts or camera feeds on our servers.

2. True North & Location Data

The App requests Location permissions strictly to determine your global coordinates and True North orientation. This data is used solely in real-time to calculate accurate solar positioning (sunlight angles) for your rooms. We do not track, store, or sell your location data.

3. Camera and LiDAR Access

Camera and LiDAR depth sensor access is required for the Room Scanner feature. Apple's RoomPlan API processes this depth data entirely on your device. We do not transmit photos, video feeds, or depth maps to any external servers.

4. Analytics and Crash Reports

To help us improve the App, we may collect anonymous, aggregated crash reports and basic usage metrics (such as which features are most popular). This data contains no personally identifiable information (PII) or user-generated architectural data.
